Well, this sums up what Happy Girls stand for when it comes to home and life.
My love of design started with my Barbie Dreamhouse (like this one here) that I got for Christmas circa 1985. This was my chance! Despite my tender age, I immediately created my very first home.
It was organized.
It was glamorous.
It was magical!
I view shopping as an opportunity to curate unique and beautiful treasures. I believe you can be unique, classic while expressing your own style.
I grew up with a mom that valued quality over quantity. She had to get creative (and maybe a little scrappy) to achieve this with 3 kids to raise. Thus began our ritual of Saturday morning yard sale-ing and thrift shopping.

So you’ll see my love affair with vintage prevalent throughout all my designs. I identify with pieces from the past. As a history lover- I like to rescue and remind a piece of its loveliness by giving it a proper home and the respect it deserves.
